APPOINTMENTS AND FEES
To Reward Our Loyal Customers, Stephensons Medical Centre is introducing a PRIVATE BILLING SAFETY NET. After FOUR private billing consultations, the rest of the consults for the same calendar year will be BULK-BILLED. (1st Jan – 31 Dec).
This arrangement will come into effect on 01/07/2020.

Telehealth consultations will be Bulk Billed except patients who do not hold a valid Medicare Card.
For your convenience we can apply for the medicare rebate for you, and medicare will transfer the rebate directly into your bank account usually within 2 working days.
Acupuncture will be charged at $60. There is no bulk-billing available for acupuncture.
The fees are payable on the day. Extended consultations are available on request if necessary. Please notify reception if required. In the event a patient requires urgent medical attention, please tell reception immediately on arrival.
AFTER HOURS CARE
Stephensons Medical Centre contracts the National Home Doctor Service to provide after hours care and home visits. If the clinic is unattended, the after hours clinic at Box Hill phone number is 9899 9980. The phone number of after hours locum services for home visit is 9429 5677
HOME AND NURSING HOME VISITS
Home visits are available for regular patients of the clinic, who are local residents and are unable to attend the clinic because of their medical condition. Home visit will be privately charge. The fees are payable on the day. Please ask our receptionist regarding fees. Visits can also be arranged for patients in nursing homes. Please consult your doctor.
EMERGENCIES
If it is an emergency, the Monash Medical Centre is located at 246 Clayton Road, Clayton 3168 (phone: 9594 3368) or the Box Hill Hospital is located at Nelson Road, Box Hill (Phone: 9895 3333). They both provide 24 hour emergency service.
